Guardian AUV

Endurance & Range

Endurance & Range

With over 45 days of submerged endurance and a 5,000km range, powered by a hydrogen fuel cell air-independent propulsion system, the Guardian offers unparalleled mission duration and operational flexibility, enabling extended deployments and exploration of vast underwater areas.

Payload & Configuration

Payload & Configuration

Guardian’s modular payload bays, each with a 2,500-liter capacity, offer flexible configuration options for various missions. The adaptive mission planning interface enables real-time adjustments, while the retractable communications mast facilitates data transmission and control.

Logistics & Maneuverability

Logistics & Maneuverability

Guardian’s design fits in a 40ft ISO container for easy deployment. Covert launch capabilities from shore or ship enhance operational flexibility. Its 8-knot speed, redundant propellers, and hovering capabilities provide exceptional maneuverability and precise station-keeping.

Guardian AUV Surveillance

Guardian AUV, formerly known as Solus-XR, is a sophisticated subsea surveillance system deployed in the challenging Canadian Arctic. A fleet of these autonomous vehicles patrols the region, detecting subsea targets and transmitting critical intelligence to a command center via satellite or VLF sound projection. This advanced technology enables rapid response and decision-making in remote and harsh environments, ensuring the security and integrity of vital underwater assets.

About Guardian AUV

Performance Highlights

The AUV is capable of conducting 45-day missions, surveying up to 5,000 linear kilometers of seabed during a single dive, significantly increasing operational efficiency.

Payload Options

The AUV offers flexible payload options, including space for sensors and up to 5,000 liters of customizable payload. It can also accommodate a custom skid and deploy off-platform assets.

Add On Adaptive Autonomy

The Guardian can be integrated with third-party autonomy packages to adapt to specific mission objectives during its 45-day missions, ensuring optimal performance and operational efficiency.

Applications

Anti-Submarine Warfare

Integrated thin-line, towed arrays with advanced edge processing, combined with innovative multi-static sensing options, significantly enhance overall anti-submarine warfare capabilities.

(Optional: Available to naval customer only, subject to export restriction)

Surface ISR

Surface ISR capabilities are enhanced by a retractable mast, enabling the deployment of diverse surface sensor suites. This versatile system provides flexibility for missions.

Deploying Off-Platform Assets and Effectors

Deploying off-platform assets and effectors involves deploying a variety of autonomous and remotely operated assets, including AUVs, ROVs, and seabed nodes, as well as retrieving them.

Persistent Seabed Warfare

Persistent Seabed Warfare involves deploying multiple seafloor listening stations for extended periods. These stations can download, and process data locally, and either loiter or anchor.

Delivery of products may be subject to obtaining an appropriate export license. Certain products or capabilities may be limited to specific market segments, geographic regions and/or customer types. i.e. naval operators.
